All of us average-looking people011 Archivesonly speculate what it's like to be a super good-looking person. We're guessing it includes being let into secret VIP rooms, or eating fancy gold chocolate, or not having to pay extra for guac.
But being very good-looking comes with its problems, too. Just ask actor and professional hot person Jon Hamm.
In an interview with The Guardian, the actor responded to a statement from Baby Driver director Edgar Wright, who said of Hamm: "It’s rare to find a dramatic actor who’s also funny. Handsome people aren’t usually funny either.”

"I bring more to the table than what I represent physically," he said in the interview. "And it’s a daily struggle to prove that. Obviously it’s a lovely thing for people to say… [I’m handsome], but sometimes it comes with a shitty dig underneath."
Yes, sometimes it really is hard to find all that talent hiding under that built physique and ruggedly beautiful face. It's a problem average-looking people could only dream of having.
But props to Hamm who called out some fellow actors who he knows possess both beauty and humor, including his Bridesmaids co-star Kristen Wiig and Master of None star Aziz Ansari.
Plus Hamm isn't shy about poking fun at his handsome looks. His guest-starring role on 30 Rock, in which he played Liz Lemon's handsome but unknowingly incompetent boyfriend, is about just that.
No matter what, Hamm (also known as "America's Sexiest Comedy Nerd") said he's enjoying his success and he's not ashamed of it.
And we our proud our handsome devil for that. Keep making strides for beautiful people, Hamm! Just keep an eye out for The Bubble:
