Janet Jackson's official website carried a curious count-down clock that had fans wondering what news its expiration would bring Monday morning -- especially since her long-awaited "Unbreakable" tour was postponed last year.
But by afternoon, the clock had disappeared -- then re-set to four-plus hours ... only adding to the mystery.

"I'm continuing my tour as I promised. I decided to change the name of the tour to 'The State of the World Tour.' It's not about politics. And there you have it: Janet Jackson willgo on tour, but not under the "Unbreakable" banner, and it will kick off later this summer.
No venues or additional dates were immediately available. For that matter, no new countdown clocks were set.
