When engaging in experiments in a science lab,Cat 3 movies proper protective wear is required. This goes for people and for good dogs.
Allie Spencer -- a student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obipso -- has been bringing her service dog Annie to her classes since January, and that even includes her chemistry lab, where both owner and dog need to make sure they take the proper precautions.
That 'safety first' mentality is what led to the glorious photo below being shared to Twitter by another Cal Poly student, Tara.

"In the picture she is actually looking and listening in the direction that I walked off," Allie told us.
Annie is a 10-year-old border collie, and Allie has had her since she was a puppy. However, Annie only started training as a service dog less than a year ago.
"She has always been extremely smart and when I had a medical condition arise she quickly picked up on it and figured out how to help me," Allie said. A truly good doggo indeed.
"She was a little confused during the first lab but now happily walks in assumes the position at my lab station," explained Allie.
Finally, we had to ask about what looks like the little dog boots Annie is wearing in the picture. Are those actually boots for dogs?
"Yes, she is wearing dog shoes," Allie said. "They have thick soles on the bottom so that if glass breaks in the lab, as it almost always does, her feet will be protected."
We believe we speak for all universities when we say that this photo needs to be blown up into posters that will be put in every single lab as a reference for how to properly protect oneself. Because Annie does it perfectly.
