LONDON -- Pokémon Gofans,Dead Again rejoice: after nearly five months of searching, Ditto -- that little blob dude who can transform into other Pokémon -- has finally been discovered.
Okay, so a small caveat -- Ditto, who has long been a mysterious absence in the game, isn't just a very good hider. He was only actually addedrecently.

From the sounds of it, Ditto is more a Pokémon that you stumble across rather than one you necessarily track down.
People sharing screengrabs of their captures and discussing the new Pokémon on Reddit all have a similar story; you catch what you think is another random Pokémon -- Pidgey, Rattata, etc. -- and after it's safely ensconced in your ball a little "Oh?" message pops up.
Seconds later, the screen goes purple and the creature transforms into Ditto.

For more information on Ditto -- including spawns and battling -- there's a pretty thorough thread on Reddit here.
In a nutshell, though, it sounds as though Ditto is now available worldwide, and can pop up in the same way any normal Pokémon spawns -- the only difference is, he'll be in disguise.
