Based on the trilogy of novels from former CIA agent Jason Matthews, Red Sparrowis directed by Hunger Games: Mockingjayhelmer Francis Lawrence, who's re-teaming with Lawrence for something a little less "young" and a little more "adult."

From the first-look trailer we just saw in Las Vegas: Dominika Egorova (Lawrence) is a brilliant young ballerina who suffers a gnarly leg break. Her career as a dancer is clearly over -- but that's not what she was meant to do.

"I can make you special again," says her new custodian (Jeremy Irons). "From your previous career you understand ... discipline."

And that's about all we know right now about Red Sparrow, which is due in theaters Nov. 10 -- just in time for awards season.
