In a hilarious video on Passion's Peak (2002)her Facebook page, Jennifer Lawrence explains why she didn't make it to any Golden Globe after parties – and why she got half-ready for them.
Missing the Globes must have been rough for an A-lister like Lawrence, but she was happy to go to a few after parties with BFF Emma Stone. Only Stone called Lawrence and changed the plan, leaving her friend half-made up and waiting to hang.

News anchor Catt Sadler after she found out she was making significantly less than a male colleague.
“Hi, what happened tonight?” Stone asks Lawrence in the video. Lawrence looks away from the camera and explains: She was getting ready to meet Stone at the parties when Stone said she'd rather just come over and hang out at home. Lawrence had no issue with the plan, but she'd already called in her hair and make up team to get her ready for the after party. She sent them home, with the result being half a face of makeup.
It's easy to imagine Lawrence greeting Stone at the door and having a good laugh over the makeup and the night's events. The two have been close friends for years and have spoken together publicly about how to bring about change and gender equality in Hollywood.
