It's the end of an era — for now. After many months of tense back-and-forth,Tina Tyler Archives Kanye West has issued a very public apology to Drake.
On Wednesday, West hopped on Twitter to apologize to the artist, referencing a myriad of squabbles between the two (and their affiliated artists) over the years, including the 2016 beef between Kid Cudi and Drake, and Drake's feud with Pusha T that resulted in the reveal that the former is a father.

"I haven't seen the show in person but the images look incredible online," West continued. "I understand where the confusion started."

"Let me start by apologizing for stepping on your release date in the first place," he wrote. "We were building a bond and working on our music together including squashing the issues with Cudi at our office."

"When I put the dates up I was a bit ramped up doing 25 tweets a day," West explained. "TMZ happened shortly after...because we spoke about doing Lift Yourself together I should have given you the opportunity for us to do this together before I released it," West wrote.
(For reference, "Life Yourself" is unfortunately that "poopity-scoop" song that West put out ahead of the month-long stream of G.O.O.D. Music releases from Kids See Ghosts, Teyana Taylor, Pusha T, and more.)
"Since we were building as friends and brothers I should have spoken to Pusha about the Quentin Miller bar," West tweeted — referencing the alleged ghost writer (and talented artist in his own right) who has collaborated with Drake. "There should have been no songs with my involvement that had any negative energy towards you."

West said that while he hadn't heard the diss tracks that followed (including Pusha T's "The Story of Adidon,") he did hear quotes from them after they were released to the public. But he quickly shut down conspiracy theorists who suggested that West fed Pusha T information about Drake's child.
"I don't play with the idea of people's children after I spoke to Wiz [Khalifa] a few years earlier."

West went on to defend Pusha, but explained that he would be headed to a show on Drake's current tour within the week to "give love and be inspired by the art you have created."
Drake has yet to respond publicly to the apology, but it's only a matter of time before we'll probably hear it all aired out on a song.
