The initial allegations against Spacey began in October 2017, when he was accused of sexual misconduct by Star Trek: Discoveryand Rentactor Anthony Rapp, who publicly claimed Spacey made a "sexual advance" toward him as a teenager in 1986.
Spacey addressed the accusations, saying that he did not remember the incident, but if it did happen, he "owes [Rapp] the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior."
