You're Venmo-ing your friend for dinner,Violet (2025) but the pizza and drinks emojis you usually put under "what's it for?" are starting to feel a little played out. Good news: You will soon be able to include custom, animated stickers from Holler, a company that designs stickers for messages, in your transaction notes. Think GIFs on your Venmo timeline.
The peer-to-peer payment company will integrate Holler stickers into its app starting this week. With the help of Holler's keyword suggestion technology, Venmo users can then add Holler GIFs directly from Venmo's platform into their transaction notes.
"Given 90 percent of users are using emoji in their payment notes, bringing characters like Mizky, Simone, and Romeon to the platform was a natural way for us to expand on our mission: enriching conversations everywhere," Holler's CEO and founder Travis Montaque told Mashable.
Venmo users will be able to access a library of Holler sticker specifically designed and curated for them based on popular use cases on the platform, Holler told Mashable.
Users should also expect to see branded stickers from companies like Subway and Ikea soon. But don't expect to access the entire GIFs universe with the integration — it's Holler stickers only. You can, however, submit sticker ideas if you fancy.
The Holler sticker integration will be rolled out to all Venmo users by Jan. 31.
