Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, written by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany, opened in London's West End in 2016, where it was met by sweeping praise for a visually spectacular production centering on a year in the life of Harry's youngest son, Albus Severus. A rehearsal script was published at the same time for fans who couldn't make it to the U.K. The Broadway production debuted in New York earlier this year.
