Brady threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown just before halftime as a disastrous opening two quarters saw his New England Patriots reach intermission down 21-3 to the Atlanta Falcons.
Brady's unfortunate pick-six put the Pats in a deephole as he sought his fifth Super Bowl ring. Then, as it is wont to do, Twitter gleefully danced on his grave before halftime had even begun.

Brady's Patriots fell down even further in the third quarter, 28-3, before completing the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history to tie the game at 28 apiece and force overtime for the first time in Super Bowl history.
New England then scored in overtime to win 34-28 and win Brady his fifth Super Bowl ring.
