Walt Disney studios has officially joined the streaming services space race with Disney+,family group sex videos a subscription service that will exclusively house many of the production company's newest releases.
If these trailers are any indication, it looks like the new, original films, welcome additions in franchises, and remakes of fan favorites won't disappoint. Disney+ — and many of the its new releases — will officially launch on November 12, with more being added to the library on a rolling basis afterwards. Although you can't subscribe just yet, you will be able to on the service's launch date through the Disney+ website. Plans start at $6.99 a month, or $69.99 per year.
Below, all the Disney+ trailers we've seen so far.
You may know Pedro Pascal from Game of Thrones and Narcos. Now, he's taking on the titular role in Disney+'s series set in the outskirts of a galaxy far, far away. Pascal's Mandalorian is a lone gunfighter, who is advised by Carga, played by Carl Weathers. Gina Carano and Taika Waititi also star in the series.
Like Disney's Lion King remake, Walt Disney Studios is updating another one of its cartoon classics via computer-generated talking animals. Lady and the Tramp stars Tessa Thompson and Justin Theroux as the star-crossed canine lovers, as well as a handful of other stars who perfectly embody the animals they voice (cough, cough, Sam Elliott).
It's a musical, it's a series, it's High School Musical: The Musical: The Series! Set at the high school wherein the High School Musical movies were filmed, Disney+'s new series follows a group of high schoolers and their passionate theatre teacher in rehearsals for High School Musical: The Musical. In this scripted series with straight-to-camera confessionals, the drama between the cast members (all up and coming performers) occurs on and off-stage.
We didn't know we needed a modern take on Santa Claus with Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader at the helm before we saw the trailer for Noelle, but now everything's changed. Kendrick, who plays Santa Claus's sister, Noelle Kringle, goes on a mission to save her brother after he disappears right before Christmas. If that's not enough, Billy Eichner plays a member of the Kringle family as well. A perfect Christmas treat.
...also known as a very different take on the phrase "high school musical." In this series hosted by Kristen Bell, she visits a new high school each episode and rounds up the alumni who performed in musical theatre productions during their formative years. Each of the alum have a second chance at taking the stage, whether its their first time back or they pursued professional careers in the arts after graduating. Get ready for tears and nostalgia.
The World According to Jeff Goldblum is definitely a world we want to live in. Self-professed "humble student and late bloomer" Jeff Goldblum tackles his biggest curiosities and questions on his forthcoming National Geographic Series. He sings, he dances, he laughs, all while being his lovable self.
On par with Encore!, Disney+'s Marvel facet is also shining a spotlight on real people. But in the Hero Project's case, its subjects are extraordinary kids who have gone the extra mile to give back to their communities and dream big despite their age and/or abilities. The docu-series celebrates the activism and perseverance of each of its young heroes by creating a custom comic book in their likeness that will be available to the public.
"Imagineering," or Disney's innovative approach to expanding and modernizing its iconic theme park experience, is the subject of this docu-series from the streaming service. The Imagineering Story takes viewers from the very first, Anaheim-based Disneyland to the creation of Walt Disney Worlds and Disneylands across the globe. With interviews from engineers and creators and behind the scenes tours, you'll get a comprehensive look at how the legendary rides and interactive experiences come together.
Disney's behind-the-scenes documentary showcases the seemingly unlisted jobs of those who make Disney magic possible. Released in tandem with a book of the same name, One Day at Disney will take viewers behind the curtain of all the magic.
This post will be updated with more trailers as they become available.
