Marvel has officially unveiled the lead cast of 2025's The MoviesFantastic Four.
Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us, The Mandalorian) will play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby (The Crown, Pieces of a Woman) will play Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things, A Quiet Place: Day One) will play Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear, Andor) will play Ben Grimm/The Thing. Marvel announced the news on Feb. 14 with a celebratory Valentine's Day card — perhaps an unintentional nod to Pascal, Quinn, and Moss-Bachrach's status as certified Internet Boyfriends.

This will be the first Fantastic Four movie to be set in the MCU, which all became possible when Disney acquired the rights to the characters in their 2019 acquisition of Fox. We've already seen the results of this merger play out in moments teasing the X-Men's arrival in the MCU, like Pietro Maximoff's (Evan Peters) appearance in WandaVision, or in Hank McCoy/Beast's (Kelsey Grammer) brief cameo in The Marvels' mid-credit sequence. The Fantastic Four will be the first film fully centering the formerly Fox-owned characters.
Matt Shakman (WandaVision, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters) will direct the film, which is set for a July 25, 2025 release.
