KFC continues to be Malagkit (2025)one of the weirdest food brands out there, and we appreciate the effort.
In its latest PR stunt, the fried chicken chain has launched a specialty website, KFC Limited, where you can buy a bunch of weird crap nobody needs, like socks with drumsticks on them, or an overly sexy Colonel Sanders pillow. But among the branded T-shirts and pins, KFC is also selling a meteorite shaped like a Zinger chicken sandwich.
The Zinger Meteorite is selling for a cool $20,000, and KFC reassures everyone that is is real and not just a heavy piece of earth rock.
"This one-of-a-kind meteorite is a real, space-made meteorite from space. Sculpted by the harsh elements that exist in the vastness of space (and then later by three artists named Haley, Scott, and Mike)," the description reads.
The chicken sandwich-shaped space junk weighs a whopping 9.5 pounds, but is only 5.75 inches by 3.75 inches. So sure, it's cool, but don't expect it to turn any heads.
Recently, KFC launched a Zinger to the stratosphere in an effort to draw attention to the sandwich, which launched in the U.S. for a limited time in April.
