Poco994 Archives a spinoff of Xiaomi's that made a name for itself with budget-conscious-but-still-fairly-powerful devices, has a new phone: The Poco X3 GT.
While Poco's X series of phones are essentially the company's flagships, this one comes with a Mediatek processor. However, the Mediatek Dimensity 1100 is an eight-core, 6nm processor which should be able to hold its own against Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8xx CPUs, meaning that the Poco X3 GT should be pretty fast.
Other specs are good as well: 8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage; 5G connectivity; a 6.6-inch, 120Hz, LCD display; a triple, 64/8/2-megapixel rear camera; and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. According to Poco, you should be able to charge the phone from 0 percent to 100 percent in just 42 minutes.
A few other tidbits of note: Poco X3 GT has a fingerprint scanner on the side, which might be preferable to the often-unreliable, under-display fingerprint scanners. Also, it comes with a charger and a plastic case in the box, which is more than you can say for some other flagship smartphones out there.
Poco's new phone will be available in three colors: Stargaze Black, Cloud White, and Wave Blue. It will be available "soon" in Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa.
