Google's new Pixel phones are A Married Woman Next Door Who Raises Three Waters (2019)finally here. After weeks of increasingly ridiculous leaks, the company finally revealed the new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL during a press event in New York.
The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL build on last year's Pixel design, but have larger displays and glass backs. The most noticeable change is the addition of a sizable notch on the front of the display.

With the Pixel 3, Google is adopting the same nearly bezel-less design as the iPhone X. The 5.5-inch display on the Pixel 3 and 6.3-inch display on the Pixel 3 XL stretch nearly edge-to-edge to make the phones easier to hold even though they are larger.
The backside of the Pixel 3 is mostly unchanged from last year's Pixels, though the finish is now glass instead of aluminum. The Pixel 3 lineup is also Google's first to support wireless charging, via the new $79 Pixel Stand accessory or other wireless chargers.
As with last year's Pixel 2, Google emphasized the camera upgrades, which add new, AI-powered features. The rear-facing shooter is a 12.2 MP dual pixel camera that has Google Lens built-in.
Behind the display notch on the front of the phone are dual 8MP front-facing cameras, one normal camera and a second, wide-angle lens that's optimized for group selfies. Another new selfie-ready feature is something called "Photobooth mode,"which will automatically take a selfie when it detects smiles, funny faces, or other signs you're about to take a selfie.
The cameras also support Snapchat-like augmented reality capabilities via Playground, a new feature that lets you play with animated stickers and other AR effects.
Google also introduced a new feature called TopShot, which automatically takes a burst of several photos, and detects which photo is the best shot.
Likewise, a feature called Super Res Zoom takes a burst of several photos and blends the images for better zoomed-in image. (The Pixel 3 also comes with unlimited full-resolution storage on Google Photos so you don't have to worry about finding space for all those extra shots.)
For low-light situations, Google introduced a new feature called NightSight, which uses algorithms to automatically illuminate dark images. The feature will be coming soon to the Pixel 3.
Google's feature for portrait mode photos is getting a similar upgrade as Apple's iPhone XS portrait mode. Like Apple, the Pixel 3 will allow you to adjust the depth of field on photos after the fact to fine-tune your shot.
Google also used AI to enhance calling features on the Pixel 3. A new feature called Call Screen is meant to make it easier to avoid spam calls. When you receive a phone call, you'll see a new option to "screen call," which will let you ask the caller questions without having to pick up the call.
Google also announced that it will be making Duplex, Google's AI feature that can make restaurant reservations and haircut appointments for you, available to Pixel owners later this year in Atlanta, Phoenix, New York, and the San Francisco Bay Area.
The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be available in thee colors: black, white, and a new pink color Google is calling "Not Pink." The new phones ship with USB-C headphones in the box and run Android Pie.
