Portable smart speakers can add a lot to your home. Whether you need a hub to control your Alexa-enabled devices or you just want to add music to areas where you don't have a reliable way to listen to your favorite tunes, a speaker is a great investment. Sonos is an especially great leader in the space, so if you're looking to grab a speaker right now, there's an especially great option available at Amazon right now for less.
As of May 30, you can get the Sonos Era 100 smart speaker for just $199. That's $50 off its normal price of $249, and a discount of 20%. This matches its previous Cyber Monday sale price from last year.
The Sonos Era 100 just hit the scene in 2023, so it's still a fairly new addition to the Sonos lineup. It replaces the Sonos One speaker, and comes with a series of updates that make it a captivating buy. This model adds a new volume control button as well as a dedicated way to turn off the Alexa voice assistant mode if you'd like.
It also happens to sound great, which is what you want to hear about a speaker, obviously. It has two tweeters for stereo sound, and it can produce plenty of volume if you want to crank up some Aespa or dance around the room to Taylor Swift. However, it does not include support for spatial audio. It's still very much worth the entry price, so if you're looking for a smart speaker, now's the time to snag this one while it's discounted.
