However, they improve on the previous generation's hardware-related connectivity and come at a cheaper price. Mashable's Alex Perry wrote in his review, "If price and sound quality are all that matter to you, you'll have a tough time finding a better value than the new Pixel Buds." The WH-1000XM4 noise-cancelling headphones are still a solid purchase in 2025. They offer top-notch noise cancellation, impressive sound quality, customizable EQ, and a comfortable fit.
