We're less than a week away from the kickoff of Amazon's Prime Big Deals Day, but if patience is not your strongest virtue, you're in luck because Amazon already has some serious deals. If you need a fresh pair of earbuds, the Amazon Echo Buds are back down to their all-time best price.
Prime members can grab a pair of the 2023 Amazon Echo Buds for $34.99. That's a savings of 30%, knocking $15 off the regular price of $49.99. We've seen the Echo Buds drop to this price once before, right before Prime Day in July. But this deal gets even sweeter: Prime members also get four months of free access to Amazon Music Unlimited with the Echo Buds, a savings of $40.
The wireless Echo Buds connect via Bluetooth and each earbud has an internal microphone for clearer communication. You can chat with Alexa through the Echo Buds to ask her to play your favorite podcast, order Oreos, or get on a work call. The Echo Buds also have Dual Connect, which lets you use one bud at a time, or both.
With a full charge, the Buds have up to five hours of battery life which increases to six if you turn off the Alexa capability and let her sleep. With the included charging case, you can get up to 20 hours of charge. A 15-minute quick charge in the case will earn you an additional two hours of jam-out time.
Our sister site PCMag (owned by Mashable's publisher Ziff Davis) reviewed the Echo Buds in June and gave them an excellent rating, noting their affordability and "decent bass depth and bright highs."
Keep in mind the charging base requires a USB-C cable which is not included when you buy the Echo Buds. The box does come with two sets of silicone earbud covers, though. You can choose between black or glacier white color options.
Prime members can score the Amazon Echo Buds for just $34.99, saving 30% off the regular price of $49.99. As a bonus, you'll get four months of free access to Amazon Music Unlimited.
